I got one of these with some $ I was given as a present and I am thrilled with it. It's light and easy to pack, it processes downed wood in much less time than an axe, and seems to be pretty tough once it is assembled. My only issue with it is that the blades appear to be proprietary and are not cheap. On the upside of that though is that the blades work very well and seem to last. All in all, I think this is an excellent choice for a pack saw.

This saw is designed for campers/hikers who want to take the tiny little light weight thingy out of their backpack and cut firewood for the night. Personally, I'm no nature boy, but a wind storm took down my big Palo Verde and I had no intension of paying someone a lot of money to have it cleaned up when I'm quite capable of doing it myself. And I don't trust chain saws. This saw is not some magic wand that cuts through wood like butter, as some reviewers might have you belive. What it is is what it looks like: a really good quality buck saw. I cleared that whole tree, and took the last two feet off a Queen Palm stump. It was a LOT of work, but I am very glad I had this saw. Keep the blade tight and wear a good work glove on your action hand. This product will serve you well.

The saw works great. It is very stable when assymbled and packs small. Two things that would improve the saw: 1) It rattles when stowed. I just packed in some cardboard to quiet things. 2) The blade ends are non-standard so you may need to use their blades. I think you could put small nuts and bolts in standard blades though.

I bought this for my husband who is the crepe maker in the house. The top of the 'T' was too large for our pan, so he ended up cutting it down a bit (making it narrower). Even so, he complained about it "digging up" the batter rather than spreading it around.

This crepe spreader works fine if you're sure to dip it first in the batter before attempting to spread batter on the pan. However, we wanted just one and had to settle for this pack of 5. I don't think we'll use 5 in an entire lifetime. Also don't bother with a spreader if you're using a non-stick pan with a "lip"; it's just too awkward. We wound up pouring batter in the pan and quickly spreading it around by tilting/rotating the pan, using good ole gravity.

We saw these crepe spreaders at the crepe vendor at the farmer's market. We decided we needed to have one! The downside is that you have to get FIVE in a package, but the upside is you can cut them to make smaller ones, if you have a smaller crepe pan (which we do!) So now we have wide ones and short ones. They are sturdy and feel substantial. Oh, and, if you've only ever made crepes by swirling, or using the back of a spoon, you're in for a treat - using this spreader will make YOUR crepes THE BEST CREPES EVER!!!

I purchased this item based on the look, utility with it having a drawer, and that fact it was "wood". So far, the cross-supports on both sides have come apart making it very unstable on a flat hard surface. The "wood" is not really any hardwood, just a cheap wood product with a nice finish. The drawer is a nice touch but I wouldn't spend more than $10 for this because I spent over $27 and it was a waste of hard earning dollars.

I'd read all the good reviews and thought that I'd spend a little bit more money on this laptop tray table as compared to some other cheaper alternatives. The product is very poorly constructed. The wood looks like it's falling apart, not to mention both bottom leg rods fell out simply from me moving the tray. The drawer is very loose and can simply be moved by a shift of the leg. My laptop does not fit on the whole table, so I'm forced to sacrifice the external mouse space. I would have liked to return this product but with shipping and restocking fee, I would lose out on too much.

I bought this for 5 1/2 inch kyocera ceramic santoku for which there was not room in our knife block. Although the case is far too long length-wise, it is an appropriate fit for width. The rubber bumpers help keep the blade secure once it is snapped closed. I took the knife to a local store to see if the next size down would work, but it was far too narrow.

After shopping around for a reliable baby monitor and only finding models that come with so many bells and whistles, I gave up... until I came across this little gem! All I needed was a monitor that provided sound for when my daughter wakes from either her naps or during the night; those "bells and whistles" with the other models that appear to be bigger sellers just didn't make sense to me. I mean, who really needs to watch their baby sleep, know the exact temperature ambiance of the room, have 2 way intercom...and who knows what other things the pricier versions provide?

This product is highly reliable right out of the box. Literally just plug it in and go! The baby monitor unit is placed across a 13 foot room, used in a room with a white noise sound machine, and it still picks up her noise. The parent unit I keep plugged in during the night, but remains unplugged during the day when I am up and about the house when she naps. It has about a 5 hour battery life, which most days is adequate. The units are lightweight and very portable. I have not experienced any interference or strange noise with the monitor, either.

This is the perfect digital baby audio monitor for the parent who doesn't need all the frills the pricier versions offer.

I have a lot of electronics at home and live in an apartment complex. The last thing we needed for our sleep-deprived nights was to have a baby monitor that was static-y or that forced us to fiddle with channels. I was close to buying the Avent DECT model but it is really expensive and stuffed with unnecessary features. I wanted a digital monitor that just worked. I didn't find any trustworthy reviews for this motorola model so I was a bit wary but it seemed to be exactly what I was looking for. It also doesn't really say anywhere what digital technology it uses. It seems to be very similar to DECT but perhaps doesn't qualify for the specification for some reason.

I am really glad that I took a chance because it is an outstanding monitor. We plug both parts in, turn them on and it just works. The only adjustment it seems to have is for receiver volume and that's really all I need! Shame that this doesn't seem to be widely available in the US. Based on reviews for other products, I think this one would blow the others away for a totally fair price when compared to Avent. If you can get this one for a good price, I wouldn't hesitate. I only negative I can think of is that the shape makes it very unstable if you want to stand it up - but it's really not necessary to stand it up in any case.

I'm a remodeling contractor and I was looking for a cost effective way to not spend my life hand-nailing joist hangers. I bought this gun and have used it extensively in the short time that I've owned it. It fits into small spaces, just as advertised, and is very easy to use, just as advertised. The only thing is that it takes a little time to get used to how you need to position the gun to depress the nose enough to get it to fire. (It's a little different than most nailers since the nails actually stick out). This is a great tool and if all you need to do is shoot 1 1/2" nails, this is the way to go. It pays for itself on the first big deck you do!

Small and efficient tool. Will pay for itself after two jobs that have a average number of hangers. One good thing is that Paslode makes nails that work in this gun also, so you don't have to use Bostitch only. It doesn't like the cold though, but overall very satisfied.

This is the best organizer I ever bought. I own 4 others but this one has the most pockets to hold items and the best overall design. It is perfectly sized for multiple glasses, credit cards,pens, makeup, you name it and there is a perfectly sized pocket. Its great that you can pull it apart also if needed. If I had to come up with a criticism I would say that it isn't as stiff as some organizers so there may be a very floppy bag it won't do as well in, but it's been perfect for me.

I have never had a bad experience with Filters-NOW, they have always delivered the item I requested on time and never with any hidden fees. I'm impressed with the array of filters they have available, especially the carbon vent filters, since those can be hard to find elsewhere.

I bought this carbon filter for my home's air conditioning intake vent, and it works quite well. It was easy peasy changing my old one out for this one, and the fit was as good as the previous filter (which was a 3M).

The carbon filter does a good job filtering out funky odors. For my purposes, it's not a preventative - if your roomie sprays that air freshener you hate, you're still gonna catch a whiff - but it removes the scent fairly quickly (10 minutes later, barely a trace of the offending odor. For my money, that's pretty quick and pretty thorough).

I'm impressed enough with the vendor that I'll definitely buy from them again. I'm pleased enough with the filter that I'd consider purchasing it again, unless I come across something that sounds even better.

These seem to work pretty well. I am forced to rent and am worried about smoke and cooking fumes accumulating. I have a 1 BR apartment with the return duct in an AC/Heater closet located
in my living room area. So far, it seems to do OK, better than just the simple cheapo filter the complex had there. I would suggest stocking up on these and replace them once a month, minimum.
At 8 bucks a filter, that's not bad if you fry chicken a lot or smoke in a sealed environment . I plan on ordering a bunch more and change them often. Also, the draw isn't going to make your AC/Heater unit become louder, that's important. I suppose it's not going to trap smaller particles like smoke and cooking fumes THAT much, but it's better than the super cheap cotton candy filter material my complex provided me with.

Stinky fumes. Not only do they singe your nose hairs, but chances are they're toxic! Chemicals, cigarette smoke... we know the aren't good for us.

I've always wondered why a charcoal-activated/carbon air filter was never available for whole-house HVAC systems. The makers of Accumulair must have pondered the same thing because here, after all these years, is an odor absorbing air filter for the house!

OK, I'll cut to the chase. This filter does a great job of absorbing household odors. It works like a regular particle filter and is just as easy to install. It's available in every size imaginable (be sure to double-check you're ordering the right one since that dropdown-menu size selector has enough sizes to make your eyes cross).

Four, not five, stars because it's not a super effective particle filter compared to a "regular" non odor-absorbing filter. The filter is more like a sponge material rather than cross-woven fibers or microfibers so there are bigger pores for some dust/allergens to penetrate. Allergy sufferers might fare better enduring the smell of last night's fish dinner instead of circulating bigger particles than a standard filter would catch. But it does exactly as claimed... it clears the funk from the air. (Well, maybe they didn't use the word "funk"...)

The Fiskar brush axe works quite well, but it's a scary tool. The handle is largely smooth plastic and doesn't provide what I would think of as a very comforting grip once your hand gets sweaty. I kept envisioning the tool slipping out of my hand and impacting my shin with that hook. Which would hurt. A lot. There's a hole for a wrist strap and I'd strongly suggest adding one. I'd also suggest avoiding vertical cutting and limiting cuts so that any follow through is away from the body. Common sense, when dealing with any kind of machete, I guess, but the forward protrusion of the hook means that this tool requires a higher level of situational awareness.

Other than that, the hook end does grab the branches and the cutting edge makes them go away.

I have had this brush axe for more than a year now. I use it at work, around the house and for exploring early 20th century ore mines sites. It took some work to get it sharp; I used two Smith's diamond sharpeners, a large one and a small one for the curved section. I keep a cheap ceramic sharpener for a Rapala filet knife with me in the woods. I would highly recommend this product if you are willing to spend a little time to get the edge into shape.

I just bought this and it is my second piece of Le Creuset. I used it tonight to bake a pot roast with all the trimmings and what a difference this pot makes! There is nothing on the market that even comes close and I think I have tried them all. I will spend the extra money any day to have their top of the line products. My first piece was wonderful and this one is equal at the very least. I am already planning my third piece and am going to replace everything I have, piece by piece. They are so worth the price and although I am retired and living on a fixed income, I will not hesitate to save my pennies and add to what I already have. As I replace each piece of cookware I have wasted money on, they go out to a yard sale, forget them, I want the best!

Le Creuset has been making their pots (french ovens as they call them) since 1925 in Northern France. The glazed cast iron is weighty and beautifully made. I have used this pot for cooking and braising and have had outstanding results. This is the quintessential pot to have in your kitchen. It will last for generations. I know of folks who have had theirs for 30+ years and some for much longer. While they are not cheap, this is a piece that will give you decades of enjoyment and will hold up beautifully.

There are few items in my kitchen that I enjoy interacting with as much as I do this pot. We have it in blue. It was a valentines day gift from my boyfriend. (Smart man - I love to cook for him using this piece!) It makes me happy to look at it. I love cooking with it. I love how easy it is to clean up. This IS an amazing investment and well worth every penny.

This pot is love. You just cannot go wrong with this one. Go ahead and order it. You will love it too.

The 930 case is solid, perfect size for carry-on-- even on smaller regional planes-- and is better engineered than the "other" cases. The latches are genius: bombproof yet easy to operate. The dividers offer much sturdier protection than the cubed foam if you want to fully load the case. Bigger lenses like a Nikon 70-200 f2.8 VR or 135mm f2 fit nicely sideways, an 85mm will go in vertically. A Nikon D700 DSLR stands upright but taller bodies like a D3s or D3x will only stand up if the hotshoe presses flush inside the lid, which is bad juju, so best layout will be to put them flat. Overall an excellent value for optimal protection for your expensive gear!
